Recently the board was given $8,000 through a Community Revitilazation Assistance Program(CRAP) grant. Jack Buckman wants to hire an enumerator, or census taker, to see if the high income areas outside of Morrisville proper, but still within the 19067 zip code, could be tossed out to improve the funding for the district. This idea is all well and good, but is there any oversight? Who is in charge of the $$ once it is given to the board. What if the enumerator charges $5k, what happens to the remaining $3k?
This board majority is entirely too shady to just be given $8k and have no oversight. So if you see a board member around town, ask them if if there is any oversight with this grant money. Ask them what happens to the remaining money if not all $8k is used.
